Poilievre has, for years, marginalized and ignored professional journalists — ones who would be able to turn two-and-a-half hours into a much more informative affair than Rogan could.
He did the interview not just because Rogan is obscenely popular, nor only because he is clearly a UFC fanboy. Poilievre went on the show because he knew it would be obsequious, and that Rogan would end the chat by exclaiming, “I would vote for you, 100 per cent!” And he was right, the whole thing was massively positive for Poilievre…
