Referendum in Moldova | Only a very thin majority voted in favor of joining the EU, so why?

EU Commission spokesman Peter Stano says Moldova’s referendum results is a wake-up call for the EU to not take its attractiveness to potential member states as a fait accompli: “What makes me think is that we as the EU are not being attractive enough to convince citizens to withstand the dirty offers from Russia, whether of a financial nature or of a disinformation-related nature.”
